GlidePrompt Privacy Policy

GlidePrompt - Teleprompter for Windows ("GlidePrompt") is a Windows app made by Intently Labs. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it. In short: GlidePrompt does not collect, send or sell any personal data, and it never records your voice.
Data GlidePrompt processes on your PC
- Your scripts (the titles and text you write, paste or import) are saved in a file on your PC so they are there next time.
- Your settings (speed, font size, colours, window position, shortcuts and similar options) are saved in a file on your PC.
- Microphone (only if you turn on VoiceFlow or press "Test microphone"). GlidePrompt measures how loud the sound from your microphone is, many times per second, to tell whether you are speaking so it can scroll or wait. The audio is processed in memory and discarded immediately. It is never recorded, saved, transcribed or sent anywhere. When VoiceFlow and the test are off, GlidePrompt doesn't use the microphone at all. You can block microphone access at any time in Windows Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone.
- Global shortcuts are detected by listening for the specific keys you assign (F6 to F9 by default). Other keystrokes are ignored and never stored.
None of this data is ever transmitted off your device. GlidePrompt has no servers, accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and it works fully offline.
Purchases
GlidePrompt is sold through the Microsoft Store. Payments are handled by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Intently Labs does not receive your payment details.
Support emails
If you email us for support, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we don't share them with anyone.
Deleting your data
You can delete any script inside the app. Uninstalling GlidePrompt removes its scripts and settings. Text files you imported stay where they were on your PC.
Children
GlidePrompt does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
